Terms of sale

Dimensions, colours and photographs are provided as accurately as practical. Handmade ceramics naturally carry variations, tool marks and firing traces. These qualities form part of the work and are not defects.

Submitting payment does not create a final contract until payment is confirmed and the studio accepts the order. One-of-a-kind works are reserved during checkout to prevent duplicate sales. If an inventory or pricing error occurs, the studio will contact the collector and refund any payment that cannot be accepted.

Prices are shown in euros. Secure online payments are processed by Stripe when checkout is enabled. Shipping, import charges and any applicable taxes are disclosed on the product page, in the agreed quote or at checkout before the order is placed.

Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms. EU consumers receive the applicable minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise non-conforming.

A commission begins only when scope, price, schedule, delivery and any deposit are agreed in writing. Because clay, glaze and firing have natural variation, an exact replica cannot be guaranteed. Commission-specific written terms take priority where they differ from these general terms.

Buying a physical work transfers ownership of that object, not copyright or reproduction rights. Vitaliy Manech retains copyright and may photograph and document the work unless a different written agreement is made.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in the collector's country of residence.
